If you have a smaller wrist and have to remove more than one or two links, the watch may fit a little funny because of the way the bracelet and the clasp are made. Not a deal breaker, but something to consider. Removing links is a bit different than most watches. You remove the initial pin like on most watches, but then the pieces come off in halves--one is loose, and the other has to be unscrewed (tiny screw, so if you have poor eyesight, take it to a jeweler). I checked on-line and found some great instructions on removing the link. It keeps excellent time for an automatic watch--you will probably need to adjust the time about once a month. As buying watches online and reviewing them is not my main deal, so I will focus only on a few details I think may be relevant. I will not be comprehensive, as I believe your choice will mostly be aesthetically and brand based, with a nod to price as well, none of which I will bother to advise on.

The band for this watch has been a focal point in the 2 other reviews that exist at this point. As there are no instructions for how to open the clasp in the many booklets that come in the box (it really is a box of considerable homage to Tissot, even including a novella on the history of the watch) , I suggest before buying this watch, go into a good high-end watch dealer where you will be dotes over and try it on first. I enjoyed sitting in sumptuous surrounds being attended to in a very high end watch store on Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich Switzerland, trying the watch on to be sure I loved it.

They showed me how to open the clasp, which is solid, works faster and is much better than a buckle which kinks and frays the leather anyway.

It is a simple mechanism. With the watch facing away from you, clasp the edge of the band between thumb and forefinger and pull up. There are two hinges.

I have showered with the leather band, and it soaks up the water but dries happily without any crisping up or other issues. I just wore it a notch looser for a few hours...

Size of face: I have large hands and thin celtic wrists. This watch is fine. It certainly is not in the "oversized range" . This watch face has girth / radius of 40mm, as oppose to the enormous 52mm IWC inspired watches out there.

Importing to Switzerland. A good idea. Buying from this provider means the country of manufacture is clearly labelled and the package is exempt from import duty, tax and general post office hassles. This meant a saving of about CHF100 off the retail of 365 Swiss francs.

The buttons are a little smaller than those on the Ironman so it's good I have small fingers to push them (though I have to push them a couple of times before it takes effect on occasion). The only other thing I wish I could change was the beeping sound that you can't turn off whenever you change mode or do any setting changes. Got this watch yesterday. So far it's good. Nice watch, the size is a little bit small. It charges in the sun. Like other people said, it's hard to change the date. If you want to change the date fom 1 to 30... take your time.

Two things I don't like:
First, The date shows in the date window. The position will change after half day. Even in the afternoon, it will show 90% of current date and 10% of next day. Usually the date will change after 20:00 for other watches.

I owned this watch for 2.5 years. It is nice and slim (although not in Citizen Stilletto territory), has a nice looking dial and can be worn casually and at work. The date/week/hour little hands readout is poorly designed as the print is too small to read easily, and white-on-white hands, while attractive, lack contrast needed to tell time quickly and I often find myself doing a double-take. need a double-take. However, I this is the real reason I cannot recommend this watch: within a month of use, the watch crystal cracked with the slightest of impacts, and had to be replaced by Skagen. The band itself is very stiff (even after leather conditioner treatment) and started to discolor with use, turning a near-black shade of brown and frayed/disintegrated at clasp point after less than 8 months of use. Skagen has a ridiculous proprietary screw-down watch band system which no one else stocks and sells replacements for, and the only way to get a replacement is to fork over $35 to Skagen and wait for 2-3 weeks for them to ship you the same stiff, problematic watch band. This watch is everything you expect from Luminox. I was surprised at how light it is for the size of it. That would be the carbon fibre casing I guess. It is a large dial that is easy to read and the dial glows well in the dark. I like the grey face. Not black but not flashy.

I think I prefer the original strap to the new Evo strap. I find this one gets a bit sweaty when warm. The watch is fairly thick so if you are looking for a slim, low profile watch, you need to buy something else.

I really like this watch! I finally went with the silver dial, which for me seemed to be the least photographed on the web, and also the least flattering in web photos. But I am very glad that I chose this dial in the end. It is more like a satin silver metal color, and almost looks like an extension of the stainless case. It really pops out in natural light, and the verticle guilloched ridges are actually quite noticeable, though they do not appear so for this dial color in most web photos. It has a lot of "3-D depth" to the bezel/case/dial total look. I know that it is an ETA movement, but they finished it very nicely for the see-thru case back (though I would have preferred a solid case back for more anti-magnetic properties). I don't know about other ones, but mine is extremely accurate - less than 2 seconds fast per day. Perhaps I just got lucky in this regard. The cyclops window is a personal opinion thing - love it or hate it. Lume is very bright. I got the rubber strap, which is very comfy and does not look too large even for my small wrists. The deployment clasp is nicely done and is double secured with each push pin seperately clasping underneath. All in all a very nice watch that is simple yet eye-catching at the same time. Tissot Men's T96.1.428.52 T-Touch Navigator 3000 Watch

My first impression (less than 48 hours since I received it) this is by far one of the better watches I have. If you are a watch collector and your looking for t-touch, this definitely a good buy. Reasonably priced with features you use on a daily basis. I say reasonable coz your getting a Tissot (Swiss) and T-Touch series for under 400 bucks.

I read a few other review which state the brilliance of the watch but were disappointed with the extended learning curve, but I think its a fairly simple learning curve. Yes, it will take a little more time to learn it compared to other watches, but its simple. I practically spent under an hour to figure out each spec of the watch and configured it really quickly.

Black color single automatic watch winder Review

I got my winder quicker than I had expected which was nice. I have a nice automatic watch that I don't wear everyday, so I needed to keep it wound, mostly because I don't want the lubricant seizing up. It's very easy to get the watch in and out of the winder, so I can get it out pretty quick if I'm headed out. I didn't know which way it needed to be wound so I just tried it both ways and found that only counter-clockwise kept it wound, so it's nice that it has those two options.
