I have had 3 of these after a year all started going haywire the backlight started coming on with arm movement running battery down.
I had originally bought one and thought maybe I had somehow messed it up. so I bought another one , it too started the same thing backlight comes on with arm movement about 1 year old,
in the mean time I had never said anything about the watch to my wife since right after I got the first one when it worked good and was happy with it. not having told her about the disgust, I had developed with it
she thought I was happy with it and gave me one with a gold anodized face, after 1 year or so it did the same thing backlight comes on with arm movement, they all still work but I have to leave them under a lamp we leave on all the time facing up to charge since they are solar, I wear one until it runs down, then switch watches, with all 3 I can keep time . Casio priced me a repair that was 25% more than have we ever paid for any of these.
