This is the econd Tag Heuer watch that I have purchased through Amazon within the past month. The first watch was impressive. It just felt right. I returned it because the crown had fallen off, made the watch inoperable and that should not happen to anything owned less than a month. The watch was from Watch Grabber and like I said it was impressive. In returning the first watch I decided to purchase another (the same brand, model, etc.). I saw that I could purchase the second watch directly from Amazon and not through Amazon like the first watch. I received the Amazon watch today and notice that it felt lighter than the first watch. The watch itself felt the same, but the band was considerably lighter and cheap feeling. I tried the watch on and it felt fake. I then looked at the watch closely and could see that the name TAG Heuer was sort of etched on. On the first watch the name was literally engraved into the side of the watch and I could run my forefinger across it and I knew that watch was great. This one today however is crap. I ran my forefinger across the name and it was like I could scrape off the words.
I am returning this watch the first thing tomorrow morning. I do not know if the watch needs to come from someone other than Amazon direct, but I feel cheated. I was so looking forward to waering the watch to a few functions this weekend and now that is out of the question.
