I received this watch as a gift today. Nicely presented in the case, and it looks good. My 51 year old eyes are shortsighted, and even with multifocals can struggle to read the small print/small dials on some watches (are you listening Breitling???!!!). No such problem with this watch - it has outstanding clarity with big numbers and excellent contrast between the white hands and black face. (unlike an otherwise excellent Seiko that I have - which has poor contrast, and in poor light is unreadable). Why only 4 stars? I have slim wrists, and this big watch looks slightly too bulky for me. But still quite OK - especially as a gift :-) The other small shortcoming is that the calendar is not a perpetual version.
