I saw the watch in an Outside Magazine and was curious about all the different things the watch would do, so I bought one. I like the weight and the style of the watch, and the color is perfect for an everyday or outdoors watch.
I will say that the Compass is pretty cool, but the Temp Gauge and the Altitude Gauge is not very accurate. I find that the Altitude can be off by 200-300 Feet, and the Temp. Gauge while on your wrist is about 15-20 Degrees warmer than what is actually is. You have to take the watch off your hand and let it sit in the area you want to measure for at least 30 minutes.
The tide chart looks cool, but I have not tested that part of it, to make sure it is accurate. I do wish the light button was easier to get to in the dark, so maybe they will end up moving that in newer models.
If you buy this watch, you will need to memorize a lot of information, as the book is about 150 pages, so be patient.
I think for $190, you should have accurate readings. I suggest you get the Garmin Watch at your local running store for about $100 more.Get more detail about Casio Men's PAW1500-1V Pathfinder Multi-Band Solar Atomic Ultimate Watch.
