I read the reviews and ordered the watch along with 2 of the replacement bands mentioned in other customer reviews. First of all, the stock band is fine...I do not feel tortured by it...I have even slept with it on 3 times. It feels like all my other G-Shock watches. This may be because I have a relatively small wrist, and this is one of the few watches that fit me out of the box...without adjustment or replacement. Having the band tightened down where the watch does not move back and forth on your arm, will cause the band to bother you. However, you do not have to wear it so loose on your arm as to have it drop to your wrist every time you put your arm at your side...for it to be comfortable. My suggestion...order the watch first...wear it a few days...then see if you want to replace the band. Note that the replacement bands are squared at the watch end, and the Casio bands conform to the watch casing, providing a very clean look.
